Overview: What are EasyClassical Daily Homeschool Schedules?
EASYCLASSICAL.COM
Why should you use our schedules?   You might be thinking, I can buy the curriculum, I can
tell my kids what they need to do as I go, why do I need to purchase these schedules?

The main concerns that I hear from homeschool mothers are: “I feel like we aren’t covering enough.”
“My kids are falling behind in their school work.”  “My kids didn’t do great on their standardized tests.”  “I
feel like my days are so scattered, that some days, we don’t get anything done.”
Easy Classical Daily Homeschool
Schedules will give you the peace of mind that you are giving your child
an excellent education, without all of the time spent organizing and planning.  You will have more fun time
to spend with your husband, your family and your friends.
Rigorous Classical Education for the Fraction of the Cost of Private school
Easy Classical Daily Homeschool schedules are day-by-day homeschool schedules following the classical
model of education.  We use the same curriculum taught in private classical schools costing thousands
of dollars in tuition each year per child.  Easy Classical Homeschool schedules allows you to provide the
same education for your children without sending them to private school.

Curriculum Selection
We have carefully chosen curriculum over the years to fit the learning ability and style of the child in
each grade.  We have used
curriculum and book recommendations from Susan Wise Bauer’s book, The
Well-trained Mind: A Guide to Classical Education at Home
, Veritas Press, and many other classical
homeschool websites.  We pace the curriculum and book choices throughout the year in our schedules
to insure you will cover enough material by the end of the year.

Integrated Subjects
We integrate many of the subjects to save you time and to enhance the learning of the child.  History is
integrated with writing, geography, art and read-aloud books.  Science is integrated with writing and art.
In second and third grade the Bible readings coincide with the history the child is studying.  For example:
on
week 17 of the second grade schedule the history lesson is “Famine in Egypt,” for geography the
assignment is to make a climate map and a products map of ancient Egypt, the read-aloud scheduled is
The Cat of Bubastes (A GA Henty book on the life and times of ancient Egyptian cat), the writing
scheduled is a history summary, the Bible reading is in Exodus, and the art project is a drawing of a cat.
Your child learns to write well while studying history and draw the art scheduled while listening to the
read aloud you will not only save you time, but the facts he is studying will become more memorable
.

Lesson Plans
Our schedules themselves are lesson plans, but we add 50-90+ sheets to each schedule to give you a
wide variety of teaching tools.  These include: an instruction sheet, a chore chart, a materials shopping
list, language arts sheets, history sheets, science sheets, art sheets, geography sheets and a physical
fitness guide.  For a small sampling of the sheets that we give you click here:

Learning Styles
We intentionally place a variety of activities, projects, and assignments in our schedules and lesson plans
to give you numerous options to meet the needs of the different learning styles of your children. Auditory
children will benefit from more discussion and read-aloud books.  Kinesthetic learners will profit from
more activities and projects.  Visual learners will benefit from projects that help them to see what they
are being taught.  If you need some help determining the learning style of your child, go to our
homeschool ideas page.
