|Geography with History: Middle Ages, Renaissance, and Reformation takes a closer look at the time after the fall of the Roman Empire. The student explores the developing European countries, and some of the surrounding territories. They look into the relationship of the early church leaders with the kings and princes of this time. They get glimpses of the towering cathedrals, looming castles, mighty kings, and weary peasants. They watch the Renaissance man use innovative ideas to change the way people live. The student walks alongside men and women who were willing to risk their lives for their faith in God. As they explore the history of the Middle Ages, students will systematically cover each of the 18 standards developed by the Geography Education Standards Project.
