Geography with History: Early Modern Times takes a close look at the land as it was when the Explorers just began their search for new worlds. Traveling along side the explorers we will discover the Americas and take a peek into the cultures of the American Indians. As we travel through time we will watch as Europeans, greedy for gold, take over the land, and Puritans, running for their lives and looking for religious freedom, establish new colonies. We will witness the building of towns and cities and eventually forming of a new country out from under the tyranny of the English King George.
